Welcome to the Leslie Earnest Studios Blog!

I am so excited to be joining the blogging world!  It is such a fast-growing world that I am ready to jump in and be a part of.

This is me!

First of all,  to tell you a little about myself.  My name is Leslie Earnest.  I am a graphic designer from the small town of Buffalo, Oklahoma.  I am also the editor/graphic designer/advertising manager/reporter of our local newspaper, The Harper County Journal.  I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ronnie, and we have one very tenacious two year old boy named Tripp.  He most definitely fits his name well!  I LOVE to read, as a matter of fact, books are kind of an obsession of mine.  I collect ALL kinds of books, but especially love reading sci-fi/fantasy, and horror books.  Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore and Anne Rice are my favorite authors.  I love spending time with my family.  I like hiking, camping, fishing, swimming and boating.  I am also an avid collector of dragons.

I would like to share some pictures of my family.

This is me and my husband when he proposed to me, a LONG time ago!  At least it sure seems like it.

This is our son Tripp.  As you can see, he likes to help his daddy work on cars, play hard and get dirty.

Leslie Earnest Studios got its start in 2008 when I was asked to start a project for our local movie theater, Buffalo Theatre.  I do on-screen advertising that runs before the movie starts.  From there I started doing logos, business cards, fliers, birth announcements and invitations.  I quickly realized that the invitations were my favorite part of all of it.  When my son turned one, I was introduced to all of the amazing things that you can design for a birthday party, and completely fell in love.  Most of what I have done so far has been for family, but I did my first client party last weekend and I am very excited.

I may have been born and raised in a small town, but I have big goals and dreams.  I am just getting started in the party world and I have already been consumed by it all.  I can't wait to see what the future has in store for Leslie Earnest Studios!

This is the current Leslie Earnest Studios logo.  I have a big re-invention planned very soon!
